Welcome to the first wine school in the Baltic States offering to study in your native language and get an international diploma.
WINE HOUSE is the official representative of the International Sommelier Guild in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
International Sommelier Guild was founded in 1982 in North America. The main mission of the organization is to bring knowledge about wine and train wine business professionals and sommeliers around the world, offering high-quality instruction in their native language.
International Sommelier Guild is the only school that provides training on its own standardized and published materials.
Diplomas obtained according to the International Sommelier Guild standard are of equal strength and international recognition regardless of the language and country in which you will study. The training program was developed by highly qualified specialists; the materials are constantly updated in accordance with the development of global trends. The training is conducted by certified instructors who regularly improve their skills.
Currently, the International Sommelier Guild has representative offices of its sommelier school around the world: in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Russia and Ukraine.
Starting from 2019, WINE HOUSE offers training at different levels according to the International Sommelier Guild standards:
Intermediate Wine Certificate (IWC)
for people taking their first steps in the world of wine or professionals starting their career in the wine business
Advanced Wine Certificate (AWC)
for wine lovers who want to deepen and structure their knowledge and professionals.
Master Sommelier Certificate (ISGM)
for professional sommeliers who want to receive a certificate of international standard.
In the corresponding section, you can find a detailed program of each level.
You will be able to study in Riga in Russian and Latvian, as well as in the English language, upon prior agreement with the instructor.
The official representative and instructor of the International Sommelier Guild sommelier school in the Baltic countries: Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia is Tatyana Iovko:
Tatyana Iovko - has more than 10 years of experience in the wine and alcohol business, has been trained at international schools that train wine business professionals, and will continue to improve her skills. Tatyana has visited a lot of wine-growing regions and wineries, wine exhibitions and is ready to share not only theoretical knowledge but also personal experience.

WINE HOUSE also offers themed wine evenings, tastings, and master classes that are held both in the premises of our school, and with the possibility of visiting the client.
